Study electro mechanical engineering. You can get a job with Boeing, Airbus, GE, Honeywell, or an airline designing airplanes or figuring out how to fix a broken airplane. Check out college at Embry Riddle. It's all airplanes. A lot of car manufacturers want licensed airframe and powerplant technicians working for them, so the aviation career path works for both cars and aerospace.
