The Aerospace/Defense industries employ all of the same college graduates as many of the advanced technology industries. The technology basics of the company come from the Egineering sciences, particularly Electrical and Mechanical Engineering. It depends on the school whether software development and other IT (Inforrmation Technology) areas are within the Engineering or Science Schools, but these are other key areas of study and placement. Classic areas of general business degrees are in the finance and business degrees, while eaither can be studied for advanced degrees after the Engineering degree. Other sciences that play a role are all of the material sciences and chemistry areas.
