I like biology and that is why I decided to major in it. I have always known I wanted to go to medical school. I know that I like helping people and I want to make a difference. The latter applies to many careers which is why I am unsure. I have volunteered in a hospital and I do not know if I can see myself working there. Can you please help give me an insight into what it really entails to be a doctor?

The next time you visit your doctor, ask this very same question! Your doctor, if you like them, can be a wonderful resource. And if your doctor really is engaged, you can start up a great conversation about it and ask where there might be more resources, too.
Med School is a big step. And expensive. Get to know more folks who do that. People like to help. :)
