I'm currently a 3rd year student working on a BS in Biology. I've taken extra classes on geology and have considered a masters in geology or natural sciences. However, recently a relative mentioned a naturopathic school that also has a masters program for nutrition. I am an advocate and believer in good true health for everyone... I really am torn. Plus, there are probably more choices out there for a career path.

I have a Master's in Geology. I would look into internship in the energy field. You know, oil and gas possibilities. There you could get a position as a exploration geologist interpreting structural geology for possible pockets of fossil fuel resources. If you are in an area with energy and oil and gas possibilities, that would be a high salary. An entry-level geologist position would most likely be working for an environmental consulting agency helping corporations not get sued for polluting the planet. Don't know if you would be interested in that. If you wanted to pursue a master's in geology, I would highly suggest getting a background in GIS as well. The geospatial field is a field that will continue to grow in demand, and working with geography and generating maps is very fun.
