Bio-Chemistry, like most sciences, has a set curriculum. So I understand the apprehension. However, it can be a great opening for jobs BUT it is okay to like science and like something else. Take a class and see if you enjoy the lab and lectures. Not only enjoy, but do reasonably well at them. It should be challenging, but leave you time to enjoy other parts of college. If so, you may have found your area. If not, you can take science classes while doing something else ( Sociology, Psychology, English, etc. ) What often helped me was taking the time to talk to my professors: go to the office hours and ask about their career path. See if it excites you at all. Good luck, and good luck in school.
