There are quite a few places you can apply for internships in California. Are you looking specifically in Riverside? There are over 32,000 companies listed on manta.com: http://www.manta.com/mb_51_ALL_23F/riverside_ca

I would browse through that list and then, for the ones you are interested in, visit their company website and look for career opportunities to see what is listed.
