First of all, make sure you receive all the experience you can. Interning or finding a mentor in event planning would be a good start.

Second, I don't know where you are from but there are likely state-funded resources (possibly non-state non-profits as well) that cater to young entrepreneurs such as yourself. It would be wise to seek out these resources and meet with whatever advisors they have available to you.

Finally, make sure this is the business you are interested in. If you haven't actually spent time doing the functions necessary, see the first line!
