If you enjoy satisfying customers, perhaps you should consider a job in customer support. It is a job that requires having a drive to satisfy customers, explain the product or service they are the customers of, and endurance to handle difficult customers. My experience has mostly been in the software and technology industries, and I know that nearly every big software company has a decently sized customer support department. It's also a good way to start off in a hi-tech company, getting to know their solutions, with the opportunity to be promoted or transfer into other groups.
