That would be an ideal job, isn't it? :-)

One of my previous jobs gave me that satisfaction. I can tell you that it is not the job itself or the amount of effort I spent in that job. It's actually a perfect combination of what I value (i.e., learning, challenge, contribution, compensation, respect, and etc). I received all of the things I value, and I believe that's the reason why I enjoyed that job. I had so much fun with it that I felt that I didn't work a day while I held that position.

So in conclusion, discovering what your values are might be the first step. Finding a job in a company which may provide the fuel to your values will make the job more interesting and feel less like work.
