Would graduating from an Ivy League college ensure or help me land my dream job (management in a large company, i.e. Boeing, Siemens, Lockheed Martin)?
I go to a great institution now, I'm a first generation college student, and I'm looking to become the successful business woman I know is my place in this world. I was considering transferring to an Ivy League college to not only gain the experience and training from a great college but also ensure a great job in my future.

Graduating from a reputable institution can have its perks. However nothing is guaranteed. More important is your level of focus on exactly what is it you want to do as a career. Unless your finically taken care of, Ivy league schools come with a price tag that can ensue debt. Weight your options.
Its been proven that one can attend a local college, network/volunteer and have exceptional growth in the work field
Best of luck

You are going through some very normal concerns. With good planning and good networking, you can make some real meaningful progress.
Please let me where you are going to school, what your major might be, why you chose it, and who might you know who is doing what you think that you want to do. Also, what is it you want to do in your career and why?

I have to agree with Tayvon.
Technical companies like the ones you listed, hire a great deal from top schools like the UofIL, Northwestern, UofOhio, Purdue, etc.

Nothing is guaranteed but certainly will help you. If you already have a good career progress, great education and know where you want to land I won't discard that option.
