I am currently in an Engineering Science program its my first semester of college and i had to begin somewhere. Calculus annoys me and its not that i cant do the work. I love many things from science to photography. Obviously Engineering would be a better career choice in the current economy but what happens after two years and i get bored of doing the same thing? to the professional answering my questions, if your career is not the only job you would or would have liked how did you decide?

Calculus is important for many Engineering Programs. But many Engineering jobs do not require calculus at all. It is important that you like other courses in the program.
