Your question is pretty interesting. you might get on as an engineer in a pharma plant where they make either the raw materials or the drugs themselves.

My Daughter is pursuing pharmaceutical degree ( 6 or 8 years depending on your path to get the degree). She studied, passed and is a certified phara tech and works at CVS to get experience and see if this is really what she is passionate about. Her ultimate goal is to be a pediatric pharmacist working at a hospital.

I think it will be hard, if not impossible to get into pharmaceuticals (sales, marketing) as a chemical engineer. This is my feeling, however, you should research this with which ever university you plan to attend.
