Every company needs problem solvers and people that can find alternative solutions and "think outside the box". From my experience the smaller the company you work for the more you will be able to use your gift of finding solutions and have the company actually use your solutions. Many large companies do not value new ideas and alternative ideas as much as smaller ones. Some jobs that come to mind for problem solvers are:
Programmer
Business Analyst
Consultant
Engineer
Counselor

End the end it depends on what problems you like to solve. Do you like to solve people problems, math problems, logic problems, business problems, societal problems? Once you know what problems are your favorite to solve you can narrow down your job choices.
