Are you a member of any of the cosmetic associations / professional organizations? Does your PhD prof have connections somewhere?
Grad school and post docs are opportunities for connections. Whoever was in your major profs group or your postdoc profs group can sometimes be very helpful in getting connections in the type of companies you want to work in.
I would ask your major prof and your postdoc prof.
Granted your area is in flavor/aroma analysis but these folks have connections you don't. Use them.
