Teaching is a hard field to stick with. I went into education because I knew I wanted to try and impact as many kid's lives as I could. It takes a certain patience to deal with that on a day to day basis and will wear you down at some points. However, when you see that look in child's eye when something you've been teaching them finally clicks, that is when you know it's worth it. Some of the work is tedious, making lesson plans and planning activities. I knew I wanted to work with children when I went home after a long day and despite feeling tired and worn out I felt like I had somehow touched a child's life.
