Many college students feel that way especially when they are on the last year of their education, so it basically natural.

I dont know if your university will allow you to shift with the your current status, but if they do allow you then do what you feel is right for you.

But from the point of view of a teacher, I say that for the past 8 years of my teaching career I never regretted or resented this profession. Because every day my students make me feel proud of myself that "I am their teacher". Not I mean that all my students like me of course it never happens, but I still appreciate those students who dislike me 'cause I know that I get in to their nerves. Only teachers get to see the hidden potentials of students, to feel their in depth emotions, to cultivate their minds and to touch their hearts.

I am proud to be a teacher although it doesnt make me rich. But the intensity and length of influence of this profession is neither immeasurable nor countable.

I hope that you will explore the possibility of being an educator because the fruit of your success will encompass any other professions.
