There are so many options for helping youth, and it's DEFINITELY something that is in demand. Here are a few options:

Working for Child Protective Services/Children and Youth Services
Residential treatment facilities - working with at risk youth.
School Guidance
Adoption/Foster Care Centers
Child Psychologist/Counselor/Therapist
After-school programs (usually at local churches or YMCA)

As I said, there are so many routes you can go. Children everywhere need help. It's great that you want to work with youth!
