Find a college that you are interested in that's in NYC, and go to their website. On the website it will have the different programs they offer. Once you see the program, it should tell you the requirements. Now, most collegiate jobs require a bachelors and masters degree, that's if you want to be a college professor. Let me know if I can help you with finding a college, walking you through the application process or anything else you may need help with.

Each college has it's own set of requirements for the hiring process. I would absolutely check with the colleges in New York City (there are many). The college human resources department should tell you what you need.

Oftentimes, the college itself posts openings on their website. The description usually explains what should qualify you.
