My question is once i become a art teacher: should apply for a job at performance art school than regular school? is art education a good major? is true that getting a job in animation is very hard and only a few get?
I love draw and be creative. i originally wanted to be an animator but my parents is it was a good idea because of lack of job and money. That why i chose art education because i could what i love and help students discover their talents. My only concern is that they get cut in Regular school.

Animation is a very competitive field of study. These two sites outline the specific skills and requirements needed for someone to enter the field: http://www.bls.gov/ooh/arts-and-design/multimedia-artists-and-animators.htm#tab-1 and http://www.onetonline.org/link/summary/27-1014.00.
In order to do art education, both regular colleges and art schools would be appropriate. You can find these programs in both types. They may be listed in art departments or may be housed in education departments so you will need to look closely at both.
If you are passionate about art and working with students, then art education sounds like it would be a good fit.
