The best part is doing what you love. If you don't LOVE helping others, spending countless hours preparing lessons, putting up with insolence, dealing with unrealistic parents, interacting with unsupportive administration, seeing your peers in business (and other areas) succeed beyond the ceiling for teachers - DON'T BECOME A TEACHER. The frustration level is high.......but it can be moderated by your intense desire to be there......in that difficult position. If you really don't want to deal with these issues, as no one wants to, but you have to be there in order to fulfill your passion for teaching, you will not be in the classroom very long.The

The best part was the actual experience of student teaching with an accomplished cooperating teacher. Then I felt more prepared to go out in the world and actually teach in the Bronx.
