There are so many options in the entertainment industry for non-actors. The basics of it are working with Sound, Lights, Costumes, Sets, Props, Directing, or Orchestras/Bands. Decide which areas interest you the most, do you enjoy doing more than 1? Awesome, now go out and either get a degree in that or start either volunteering at your local theatre or take entry level positions at theatres, concert venues or convention halls. See what entertainment options are available in your area and see how you can get involved. Make contacts with those you work with so you can advance in the industry and never shy away from learning something new or about an area you may not be interested in. I can't tell you how many times I wished I had paid attention because that info would have proved useful in a future situation.
The industry is full of different types of jobs but there are also different types of industries within entertainment- theres film, theatre, concerts, conventions, any of the skills you learn in one area can translate to another, so explore what you might like and really develop a passion for it, this industry is not for the faint of heart.
