It sounds like you want to become a writer without the hassle of having to write novels. It'd recommend you try to get a degree in creative writing and then try to get a job that involves writing shorts as a group.

For example, most TV shows are written by a writing team of several people that work collaboratively on a project on a weekly basis. This is going to be true for many thing written for the screen, such as cartoons, anime, live action TV shows, etc.

You might also consider getting a job in marketing, such as coming up with commercial ideas and shorts of all kinds.
