You can't just decide where to go to school based on lists and hear say. You should check out the school for yourself. After you do the traditional "college visit" day, which is designed to make the school look perfect, try to find a regular student and ask them what it's been like for them.

You also need to decide if you what to go to a school that's technical or theory based. Some don't let you film until your senior year, while others put you on tracks after your freshman year. Keep in mind that some schools will own your senior thesis, while others make you pay for everything youself.
