I love coaching and consulting! It can be very rewarding in the long run. Michael Port has a book - Book Yourself Solid - if you can get the illustrated version? You're golden. Get started and see what happens next. Definitely continue learning more about your field as you grow in experience and learning more about what you do and don't want to do in the field. Since you're just getting started, reading up on the field will be best. After that, just do it :) Best way to learn in my opinion.

Starting a coaching and consultant business is hard work. It requires the individual to dedicate time and understanding to help the client realize their goal. It is always a good idea to get training and education relating to business and coaching to determine what type of coaching you would like to offer. There are several programs online and at institutions that offer ICF accredited coach training. Check online and your local institutions. Also, consult with a law professional if you want to form a legal structure for your consulting business.
