It is OK to be afraid. See it like investing in stock market... instead of putting all your money into a single stock (yourself only), invest in a solid mutual fund. Try it with some people you trust and also had successful track record. It is not always the case but in general, if someone has done it before, there is a much higher chance he/she can do it again. Become successful requires a lot of luck but knowing the typical pitfalls will get you half way there.

This is the most common (and strongest) fear many people have, yet don't often admit.

It is something you need to work on getting over, as not only does it open career options, but it opens yourself to finding happiness in your work.

If interested in entrepreneurship, it is absolutely necessary to remove your fear of failure, but still be aware of risks.

EVERYONE has fear of failure. By confronting this fear though, you are making a positive step forward. As time goes on, just keep reminding yourself that everything will work out for the best as long as you work hard, work smart, and are honest with yourself.
