Are you in a town where you can either go to a trade school for hair styling or are you where you might approach existing hair salons and offer your services as an "intern" without pay? Yes, without pay! You may have to go without pay and offer the salon services to help man the place, clean, etc. Ask the salon owner if you can watch and learn from the existing hairstylists. You may offer to work there for pay after they feel you have learned enough. Practice and practice is the key and you may need to find "guinea pigs" in friends, family and even in the salon you approach to let them allow you to work on their hair! Read up and see videos on line about stylists and search out on the web opportunities.
