Who buys your cupcakes now?

who could potentially buy your cupcakes?

why would they buy your cupcakes over the next guy?

what does it cost to make and distribute and what is your net profit from each cupcake?

is there anything unique about your cupcakes?

Do you need a food license of some sort in your region or city to sell or make food items?

Do you like to make cup cakes?

These are basic questions to ask yourself. Assuming you answer these, the bottom line with any business is you need customers so go out and get em. if was starting a cupcake business I would want to know if retail or wholesale? what angle do I want to cover. For me maybe whole sale and I might distribute them to local places who already sell food stuff to there customers and ask to add a cupcake line.

good luck, hope it gets you going in the right direction

Work as much as you can, wherever you can, and save. Never turn down any opportunity to make money. I own a company today and while only operating for one year, it has made over 1 million dollars. I did not borrow money from anyone. I did not find investors. I worked and worked in this same industry, for people I did not like, having partial ownership but never being recognized. It took 5 years for me to be able to go out on my own truly, but I know just how hard I have to work if I want to make it on my own.
