One thing you should keep in mind; not to down you, but its really hard to find a job these days so i suggest that you do this. i have tried it and at most times it has worked. When applying for an internship at a place you think that absolutely they would never give you one, ask it as in favor of a volunteer. They will listen to you much more clear because they think that you are ambitious of what you want to try out and from there when you go for the interview, ask for it as an internship. You will have more chances of getting it that way. Best of luck my friend.
