I'm great with numbers and currently work at an accounting and tax office. I am looking for a change. I love working with numbers but can't do the accounting and tax thing anymore. I wonder if doing something in finance will be as lucrative and if there are even entry finance jobs that would be a good fit for me? Or should I look more into teaching, I never thought about it, but it would be a big change but could I enjoy that?
I'm currently finishing up college for a bachelors in business - finance/accounting. I just don't see myself continuing doing what I have been for the rest of my life. I loved it at first but 9 years later, I am just really starting to think about other options.

Have you looked into being a financial analyst or even an actuary? Both those positions deal with numbers and are different from taxes & accounting.

I graduated with a BBA in Finance but went into Operations and was very succesful.
The finance degree helped me understand P&L/Accounting, etc and I was able to start my own business. The first company I started was a medical device company (which I knew nothing about). I had $15,000 in my 401K and I cashed it in to start this company. I did know what to do but got lucky and had found an older gentleman to help mentor me. This was huge. Let me know if I can help ypu any.
