I am assuming that the 2 year rotational program is from one of the few large bulge bracket firms? What kind of projects have you worked on?
Please ellaborate on the two questions above and tell me what you enjoyed more than the others (Investment banking, research, institutional sales, trading, corporate banking, corporate finance et.). Typically, someone who enjoys analytical aspects are not drawn to smoozing with customers and palm pressing- although, I think a good analyst would be great with clients because they are digging deep which clients like. Having substance in conversation is more appealing and a salesperson's ultimate goal is to establish a long term peer to peer relationship vs. working for them as a subordinate.
