Risk management is a large part of my daily. There is a wide variety of forms that I inspect. I inspect wire transfers that we complete for clients, I also review legal documents to make sure the forms contain the right information that proves the client is the right person to take ownership of the account.
The other part of my job is observing and documenting our tellers ability to recommend new products and services to clients. A lot of the time this portion requires myself to model the right behavior and inspect that the client shows the same behavior.
I am an analyst at a venture capital firm. We invest in late-stage medical device companies on behalf of our limited partners.
My role consists of researching marketing trends and individual companies for potential investment within the healthcare/medtech industry. I handle deal sourcing through proactive outreach as well as due diligence on potential investments. Investment due diligence entails meeting with executive leadership teams (CEO/CFO), speaking with industry-leading professionals, building financial models and analyzing markets.
These are fairly typical responsibilities across venture capital/private equity firms for either an analyst or associate positions regardless of industry (medtech, software, biotech etc.).
Hope this helps!
