If you speak French fluently and are looking to optimize your skill set and volunteer, look towards your local schools. Many junior highs and high schools offer French as a second language, and accept volunteers. If working with students is something you are interested in, if you're not seeking a opportunity with younger students, then you can always check with your local colleges (community or university, both typically have a volunteer program in place)
Otherwise, you can look into different volunteer options within your city or region that would benefit from your fluency. It might take a little digging, but there are websites that bulk the different volunteer positions together by area, eligibility, and even specify government run programs and nonprofits.
some sites to check out:
volunteermatch.org
serve.gov
thevolunteercenter.net/volunteer

or simply google search opportunities within your desired areas for more specific and unique results.
Best Wishes!
