I know several nutritionists. The have different levels of schooling. One has a masters. One works in a hospital and makes patient rounds. During those patient sessions they explore with the patient their diet, food options and the benefits of the food program prescribed.
Another nutritionist I know hung a shingle in town. She sees private patients, prescribes diets, has follow up sessions, keeps her clients interested and motivated. She's also involved with the local schools and communities and lectures about the benefits of eating healthy.
They both have masters degrees.
So, once you get your degrees, your options will appear before you while pursuing your masters.
