Google the different companies, do your research. Read and note which requirements they have for the job you are interested in. Whatever your background is, gather all your awards, certificates, degrees, etc. Once you know what the company requires, include relative experience on your resume. Many companies will allow you to email them your resume.

After finishing the application process, the recruiting staff will contact you if they are interested (a long wait). From then on, the staff will inform you on what steps to take.
