There are many other occupations in education working with children that aren't teaching jobs. Some suggestions:
-guidance counselor
-school psychologist
-school social worker
-principal
-behavior specialist
-special education liaison
-dean of students

Yes, there are plenty of opportunities such as education specialist, behavior analyst to name few. I am not an expert in this area but did some research for you.
