I wasn't great at math but managed to get a BS in electrical engineering (which has a bunch of math) and it served me well in my career. There are 2 year degrees in engineering which have less match you can consider as well. As for traveling overseas I HIGHLY RECCOMEND IT! I did it and it really helped my career. Developing countries like India and parts of Asia are a good area. I hope in the next 30 years Africa will also be a good place to develop with jobs. Which areas within engineering are you interested in? Which countries attract you?
