Are there any female police officers willing to offer advice? I would love to go into law enforcement but at the same time I feel as though I am too timid and have no experience.

I am hoping to get an early start on my summer for next year by getting an internship for that summer. How would I go about this?

Im a special police officer in washington dc, well say special police sounds good known as SPO, but basically im a security gaurd with arrest powers and can do what a police man can do. But can I be more than just a gaurd of a building or school, can I really get out here and help my young brothers and sisters who are stuck in the streets feeling like the hood is the only life we can obtain.
