Law is a vast field and everybody who has a law degree does not have to become a lawyer. In the field of law it depends on where you want to work, for example in the courts it could start from legal secretaries, paralegals, court reporters, legal assistants, attorneys and judges. In the corporate world lawyers are consultants and also help in compliance of law.
Step 1 would be to choose the right major in your high school and undergraduate level, so you have a foundation of the law course. Like political science, English, public speaking, government, history, philosophy, economics, and mathematics. The wikihow lists details on how to become a lawyer and here is the website.
