Some how I got cut off before finishing, so here is the rest of my answer. First you are going to have to decide upon which of your two fields you really prefer, for the preparation foe each is very different, I suggest you write down the pros and cons for each, including necessary entry requirements, competition, salary desired and your financial situation. Both areas have high competition, so unfortunately grades and experience are critical. In Colorado, equivalent course taught in junior/community colleges must be accepted by state college/universitys as long as a minimum of a "C" was obtained. Your second job is to read the catalogs from the various schools you are interested in to see what their entrance requirements are and the various majors available. If your GPA (total- all courses) is less than 3.0 you will have greater difficulty being accepted.
Go to the library and read the dictionary of occupational titles to see what is available. Also read the Occupational Handbook for great information.
Afterwards, write me more specific questions if you need more help.
Both your fields relate to psychology and sociology. For the first two years, most schools lave required liberal arts courses which will help expose you to some of your answers. Unfortunately, the ares you are considering are very popular with lots of competition You are going to have to be more selective in your future areas, for the preparation for each are very different,.
