Look at the, "Occupational Outlook Handbook" found in all libraries. You wont have to decide on a major in most colleges, for the first two year you will be taking required liberal arts courses. Remember, many areas will expect you to have taken all the math and science with a GPA of 3.5 if you are going to compete successfully in any of the sciences.
