You can go online and search local volunteering activities for your area. You can also inquire by asking your instructors at your school. They may know of some opportunities in the community that are looking for help. You can call certain businesses that specialize in the area you are interested in such as maybe a pediatrician's office if you are interested in that field, etc. Hope this helps. Best of luck!!!!

I would recommend that you seek out volunteer opportunities at places where nurses are employed; i.e., hospitals, clinics, nursing homes, rehabilitation centers. Your college's career center might have a list of open volunteer or internship opportunities. Another way to find volunteer opportunities in your local community is through http://www.volunteermatch.org/. You can use Volunteer March's website to seek all kinds of volunteer roles.

Good luck to you!
