This is a good question. If you're curious, many hospitals have shadow programs for students/adults interested in jobs in the hospital. Search google.com for "nurse shadow" programs in your city.

Hope this helps!

Best way to tell is by taking a online or in-person careers assment test.

This is a good question. First of all, review the course work at the schools that you are considering. Determine if you have the time, interest, and resources to attend. Choosing a profession is based on some research. If the course work is something that you feel you could pass and enjoy, then that is the first step. You may wish to contact several schools to review the entrance requirements and talk to that department. Many nursing programs today have waiting lists. Good luck!
