LVN/LPN - a one year vocational school and you receive a license as an LPN/LVN nurse. It is almost the same skills you learn as a medical tech. They use these 2 positions interchangeably.
2 year RN - has an ADN degree and an RN license once you pass the boards, an associate degree RN.
4 year RN - has a BSN degree and an RN license once you pass the boards, a Bachelor's Science Degree. Usually this type of degree can go into management and a lot of upper management positions require this type of degree in nursing such as research, manager, clinic, etc.
