I think it is! I, too, took a Pharmacy technician course in high school and I wouldn't be in this program to become a pharmacist in 6 years if I hadn't. Plus, it would be so much easier for you to become a technician or pharmacist because you have already been exposed to the material, I know it's helping me.

The amount of time to become a pharmacist technician isn't terrible either, and you can always change careers if you are not happy with your decision in the long run.
