Bottom line- it's hard work. You're going to see things that no one else sees. Children living in meth homes, malnourished infants. It's a hard thing to see. BUT the biggest pro and reward is that you are making a change in these people's lives- and for the BETTER! You are the force that can come in and change their life forever. It sounds like you're interested in children and therapy- look into Family Therapy, or Youth Counseling. Both are awesome careers to go into!
