When I was thinking about where to go for my master's degree; after I had decided on the area of focus, my mentor told me that psychology can be broken down into three main areas: teaching, research, and advising/counseling. These are broad areas for example teaching can be done as a life skills coach, community college teacher, or professor at a university. Psychology has so many subsets, my recommendation would be to see if your college or university has a course on understanding the different fields of psychology - that will point you in the direction of the different careers that are available. The course I took was a graduate school prep course and we were able to research the different areas of psychology as well as interview people in the field, and work on our actual graduate school application.
