There are generalized jobs that might fall under these majors. For social sciences, you might think generally in terms of popular jobs like city manager, fundraiser, historian, journalist, legislator, or writer. For sociology, you could find jobs in the areas of criminal justice, advertising or marketing, human resources, analyst, public relations, or sociologist. I wouldn't get to tied down to what specific major will exactly lead me to the job of my dreams because there's no magic formula. You have to find the major that's a good fit with where you want to be and then if needed you can gain additional experience and/or education down the road.
