I am in the process of making a career choice. I like the intricacies of human resources , however, I would love to be in a challenging environment of pharmaceutical/medical device sales. I do not have much sales experience and landing an entry level position in either industry is though. Any advice?

I find your question to be intriguing, because I just happened to be in both careers, unexpectedly and at the right times. I currently work for an Oil & Gas company in HR/Talent Acquisition/Recruiting, but prior to working here, I started off as a Recruiter for a Medical Device Sales company. I didn't work in Sales, but I did the recruiting piece of it and I loved it. It helped me to land an even better Recruiting opportunity with this large Oil & Gas company that I work for now. So, I say all of this to say that whatever you put your heart and mind into doing, just go for it. Whether it be HR, Recruiting or Medical Device Sales, just make sure you get some experience under your belt and make sure you craft your resume to sell yourself for the career you are interested in.
