I would suggest volunteering! You can get some invaluable experience volunteering and learn things you wouldn't have access to with an actual position. While volunteering say yes to everything to learn new skills. Its a great way to network and to add more things to your resume. I would look with non profit companies, state/government funded programs, or directly with the state. Talk to your career counselor or a professor that you have had in the past, they are always a great resource as well.
