I would recommend applying for HR internships or other entry-level positions (i.e. HR Administrative Assistant, HR Assistant, HR Coordinator) as these positions can lead to additional opportunities within the company. You may also want to check volunteer websites (such as VolunteerMatch) as many non-profits offer non-paid opportunities in their HR departments. I would also recommend student membership in a local HR organization (such as the Society for Human Resources Management SHRM).
